From the 27 till the 30 of December we had the enormous joy of organising a clinic in the Yacht club of Greece using Metasail as a tool for our debriefs.
The Company has launched a platform for coaches that are using Metasail Trackers in their
training sessions. The result was amazing for the sailors cause they had useful numbers to compare plus videos that were sychronized instanly with their tracking video imprint.

What we coaches find very useful with the new platform of metasail is the simplicity of the web app. After the training ended we didnt have to do anything to synchronize videos with tracking etc. All the training was up in our account and we just presented it to the sailors on a tv screen.
Whille Training one of the great features of the app is the augmented reality video recording. It is very useful way to explain to the sailors how their technique affects in a good or a bad way the speed of their boat.
Another Feature that is ground breaking is the Real Time Telemetry you get live while you are on the water and you compare easily SOG and VMG among your sailors in upwind and Downwind.
Sailors had a lot of training and everyone was very pleased with the features of METASAIL.
For us coaches it was also great cause we had so many things to discuss with the sailors in the debrief plus all the sailors could study more they own performance on their own time.
